Christmas Island, No Place better to Quarantine

According to folks on Kiritimati, anyone arriving on the island will have to spend a two week quarantine period at a detention center. That means no fishing for the first two weeks you are there. To most of us, this means they really aren’t quite ready to “open up” to fishermen.

The GT, bluefin, golden, triggers, and bones are safe for a little while longer. DIY and guided anglers dying to once again fish that incredible place will just have to tie flies, practice knots and look at your old pics. Anyone else running out of patience??
